Job had no Bible. That doesn't mean he had no revelation. We're spoiled by having easy access to the Scriptures, in so many good translations. And we rely on it as the definitive source for learning what God is like, and what He desires of us. But before we had any sacred scrolls, some people had encounters with the Author, and of course they passed that precious knowledge along. Job knew the basics. And he would learn more.
