The devil thought he knew Job better than God does! In the passage we'll look at today, Satan seems to believe that Job was pulling the wool over God's eyes. The arrogance! The delusion! This very warped creature is about to be humiliated, through the test of a pious man. If Job had been warned what was coming, the test wouldn't have worked. And the whole thing was God's idea.
