God knows that we're energized by incentives - and He has given us some! Critics complain that the doctrine of "salvation by grace through faith alone" leaves no inducement for believers to behave well. And, because Christian preachers have neglected the large body of scriptures dealing with rewards, the critics may be on to something. Yes, we should be motivated by gratitude.
