Christians know the future! But what are we doing with that knowledge? Human beings are stuck in the present. We can't go back in time; we can only go forward, one moment after another. Whatever happens tomorrow or next year will be a surprise. The ignorance of our species causes some to "party hearty," while others live in fear, trying to prepare for the worst. But Christians know the future - the broad outline, anyway. And our response should be different.
