When God wraps up the human story, He ties it all the way back to the beginning. "And on either side of the river was the tree of life...and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations," John writes in the last book of the Bible. We saw that tree in Genesis. Adam and Eve could have eaten of its fruit then, but - well, you remember what happened. Now that God's promised Redeemer has come, and His plans have been fulfilled, He restores our access to this miraculous tree.
