Matthew is not a neutral observer - and that's OK! There has never been an unbiased reporter or an unbiased report, and thankfully it seems that people are waking up from that fantasy. The things that Matthew saw convinced him that Jesus is the Messiah, and he writes to convince others. We can hardly imagine anyone coming in contact with the preacher from Nazareth, and coming away with no opinion! Today Jim will complete the message he started yesterday.
