"One will be taken, and the other will be left." Isn't that the Rapture? As Jesus is outlining the conditions just before - and apparently this is moments before - He returns, He gives that rather ominous detail about "one taken, one left." This is not the Rapture, the "snatching away" of believers; it seems to be the opposite - a kind of anti-Rapture. Pastor Jim will help us think about that, and other elements of the Lord's remarks toward the end of Luke 17.
