We can follow rules, or we can follow Jesus. Christians have to understand what the Law was for, and who it was for. Above all, we shouldn't listen to anyone who arrives with a new list of laws for us to follow! That's what we'll address today. We're studying 1 Timothy, but when we left off on Friday, Jim was giving us some historical background from Acts 20. Paul was warning the elders at Ephesus about what would happen once he was gone.
