Most of us love a good mystery! If we define "good mystery" as "one we can figure out ourselves," then the Bible will disappoint us over and over again. Because the secrets revealed in its pages were devised by an Author much smarter than we are. As Paul closes his letter to the Christians in Rome - reluctantly, it seems - he has a few last words of warning, and encouragement. We'll be in Romans 16, of course, but the Apostle's words about "mysteries manifested" have sent Jim's thoughts to another book.
