The Author of history loves a plot twist! We've been studying Zechariah, and we've spent some time in chapter 1 with God's rebuke, as well as His promises to "again choose Jerusalem." We looked briefly at the four world powers - the "four horns" - and the "four craftsmen" God would send to dismantle them. Now we're ready for chapter 2, and some prophecies that must have seemed impossible at the time: not only the Jews returning to Jerusalem, but slaves becoming the masters, and many nations joining in the covenant relationship with the LORD.
