We see Jesus heading straight for Jerusalem and crucifixion, but the Cross was not His target! The Lord's ultimate goal was not Calvary; He was aiming toward something beyond that. And it was past the Resurrection, as well. As we'll see Him today in Luke chapter 10, Jesus is putting in place things that will be needed after His Ascension!
