There is, after all, "something about that Name." We might have thought that "Immanuel" would be a fitting name for the newborn Messiah. Or "Shiloh." Or one of His other prophetic names. But the angel, under God's direction, instructed His human parents to Call His Name, "Jesus." There is power in that Name, and that's why His enemies hate it so much.
