What had the risen Jesus been doing that beautiful Sunday morning? We know what Mary Magdalene was doing that morning-of-all-mornings, and we can locate Peter and John in the Gospel record. But between the time He walked out of the grave and the time He spoke to Mary, what was the Lord doing? The answer seems to be that He was waiting - waiting to take away the grief of a friend.
